I actually also have a new obsession to talk about: Banana loaf of bread breakfast time cookies. Normally I would state regular cookies, but since these taste like banana loaf of bread AND oatmeal, I’m really quite in like. And when chocolate chips are thrown in the combine? OMG!
Plus they only take a quarter-hour to create and clock in at around 60 calories per cookie. YES!
This really isn’t a good recipe. It’s me letting you know to mix two things collectively for sweet satisfaction you do not have to experience guilty about.
For reals. No weird processed substances from a container. Just all natural stuff.
Dairy free of charge. Gluten Free (use GF oats). Nut free. Vegan. Vegetarian. I believe they’re an excellent breakfast (or healthy treat!) for whoever you might be. That is unless you’re allergic to bananas or oats. Sorry!

If desired you can add in a few of the following:
Preheat oven to 350 levels F.
Place oats in blender or food processor and mix until oats become the persistence of flour; it’s okay if it’s not really perfectly ground.
In large bowl combined mashed banana with oats until smooth. Add 1/2 cup of your preferred add in; I used dark chocolate chips along with a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Spray cooking sheet with non-stick squirt. Drop dough by huge tablespoons onto cookie sheet; flatten a bit with a plastic spatula. Bake for 9-12 minutes or until cookies are set. Remove from oven and great on cable rack. Cookies will keep in a protected container for a few days, or they could be iced and reheated. Makes about 16 cookies.

We 2nd the DUCK tour. I know it noises corny nevertheless, you get a great place of the land plus some great background all whilst having lots of fun trigger the drivers are great! Then you can return back and do the neighborhoods you intend to see more of. You can also get the DUCK in the mall close to the Prudential building.
The Barking Crab” was a great dinner. Picnic dining tables all set up under a roofing on the drinking water – meet plenty of great people.
Eating anything in Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall is a superb people watcher.
For some laughs, get tickets to the Improv Asylum within the North End – so fun!

Mine proved too dry. Maybe bananas should have been more ripe. These were thicker as well. I may put in a pinch of sodium. Something was missing. My add ins were coconut flakes, delicious chocolate chips, honey, peanut butter vanilla remove – very little of each.
Honestly my 17 year old said they were rubbery. I think I need to try again.
I’m pretty past due upon this but We made them this past weekend! They weren’t ideal, I have to play around using the measurements more. My mistake was that I didn’t start to see the component where you mix the oats 1st to make a flour, so I just put directly oats within. I made a large batch because my bananas had been about to ruin (5 of these) therefore i did 5 moderate bananas, 2 mugs of oats and some oat flour (I needed both at home) just to get the regularity right. I blended that collectively and got pretty much the same regularity as making chocolate chip cookies (the ‘genuine’ way).
I QUICKLY added in chopped dark chocolate (didn’t have potato chips, but I had fashioned a bakers bar), chia seeds, and some handfuls of chopped pecans. I baked them lengthy enough to get them crispy nonetheless it by no means occurred – they came out chewy, probably because of the oats. They taste great though, they really feel just like a dessert so it is preventing me from having richer desserts because I know I’ve these in the home. ðŸ‚ I just wish I possibly could encourage them to crisp up. I’ll try using the oat flour next time rather than oats and see if it creates a difference. If you have any tips besides that to have them crispy, I’d want to know!
I thus wanted this formula to work of us. My hubby cannot have gluten, most grains, eggs, dairy, nuts, and more. I am a huge baking fan, and also have been lacking baking. So, I am trying to look for recipes that he can have got (no fun in baking a thing that he can’t have too), that is, I have discovered, hard.
Hence my high expectations for this recipe that was recommended to us. Well, it did not just work at all for all of us.
My bananas were very ripe, We used 3 moderate, rather than the 2 large ones indicated within the formula. Added handful of glucose, and vanilla. And do half of a batch with raisins, half with chocolates chips.
These were extremely dry out. Quite bland. This type of shame. I wonder what went incorrect.
